How we keep FaceTravel safe for travelers — what we expect from you, and what happens when someone breaks the rules.
1. Be 18+
Adults only. No accounts for minors. Misrepresenting your age is grounds for a ban.
2. Zero tolerance
No illegal content, sexual exploitation, harassment, hate speech, threats, scams, spam, or anything that endangers someone. Ban-worthy on a first serious offence.
3. Respect other travelers
Treat people with respect in profiles, posts, chats, reviews, and in the meetups you arrange yourselves. No bullying, no stalking, and no contact after someone blocks you.
4. Honest listings
Trip details — dates, capacity, price labels — should be truthful. Prices are estimates only; FaceTravel never processes payments.
5. Safety tools, and how quickly we respond
Use Block and Report — on a profile, trip, experience, post, comment, message or review — any time, from the screen the content appears on. Blocking is immediate and works both ways: neither of you sees the other's content, and any follow between you is removed.
Reports go straight to our moderation team. We aim to review every report within 24 hours, and faster where someone's safety looks to be at risk. Filing reports you know to be false is itself a breach of these guidelines.
6. What we may do
Depending on what happened, we may remove the content, restrict what an account can do, or ban it outright — with or without prior notice, and permanently for anything serious. We may also pass information to the authorities where the law requires it. If you think we got a decision wrong, appeal by writing to support@joinfacetravel.com and tell us what we missed.
7. Offline meetups
You arrange meetups yourselves and you are responsible for them. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, and trust your instincts. FaceTravel is not a party to travel arrangements.
